Mrs. Tilda Gautreau, 93, widow of Eloi Gautreau of Pre-d'en-Haut, died Monday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lengthy illness.

Born at Pré-d'en-Haut, she was a daughter of the late Philippe and Madeleine (Cormier) Gautreau. Her husband died 23 years ago.

She is survived by five daughters, Miss Emerise Gautreau and Mrs. Alcide Robichaud (Ella), both of St. Anselme, Mrs. Zoël Richard (Evangéline), Mrs. Edgar Belliveau (Albertina) and Mrs. Ronald Cormier (Stella), all of Pré-d'en-Haut; five sons, Aurèle, Clovis, Albert and Alyre, all of Pré-d'en-Haut, and Arthur Gautreau of Moncton; 31 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, from the Notre Dame de L'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
